Potatoes are rich in Vitamin C. They have skin whitening properties. You can apply them on your face to clear tan and dark circles. They are also said to be helpful with sun burn and pimples.

Apply some lemon juice directly or mixed with honey on your face for 6-8 minutes. If you are applying directly, rinse earlier if it burns.
Raw Milk is also effective in removing tan. There are so many tan removal products that claim to have milk as an ingredient.
Apply it on your skin directly or mix with honey or tomato juice. Leave for 15-20 minutes and rinse.
There are a lot of other alternatives like rubbing ice, carrots, turmeric and sunflower seeds which are said to have skin brightening properties but I have not tried them yet so didn’t list them along.
Do mention in the comments if any of these (or something else) worked for you. 🙂
